<p>This site being more north is sometimes less exposed to strong mistral wind and this case present an advantage over the sites near Ajaccio.</p> |
| Access |
<p>Drive through Cargése up the small road leading to Paomia. Park on the harpin bend and follow the small road to the right. At the fork, head right on the dirt track following the ridge line toward the south.
Please don’t deteriorate the fences and close them. Just before the track starts descending, you will find the takeoff spot.</p> |

| General Description |
<p>Less known and less frequented than the sites near Ajaccio, the Cargése site offer great opportunity for long flights above the village of Cargése, the beaches and mountains around. Great site.</p> |
| Flight Description |
<p>Takeoff and soar on the west facing ridge.
If the wind is right, you can go more right and soar above the ridge in front of the takeoff site, above the Cargese village. From there you’re free to explore around with a lot of landing options.<br>
The preferred landing being the Stagnoli beach.</p> |

<p>Cargése sits right in the TMA Ajaccio 5 that starts at FL085 (equivalent to 8500ft/2590m above the standard altitude) or 3000ft/300m above surface.</p> |
