General Description

<p>The Ostriconi site, named after the Ostriconi river and its wonderful white colored sandy beach, is one of the many paragliding sites in the Balagna region. It is probably one of the best dynamic soaring site in Corsica.</p>

Flight Description

Drive to the site, where you will find a parking along the road. A small path quickly leads to the takeoff. <p>Take off and soar in front of the Guardiola hill. If you manage to climb a few meters, and depending on the conditions, you can transition to the big abrupt slopes on the left. Soar along and if conditions are right you can go as far as the Antenna which sits on top of the Losari site.<p> <p>For the landing, you have different options: <ul><li>On the beach: easiest and safest option</li> <li>Back on the takeoff field</li> <li>On the parking, around the road or on the abandoned road</li></ul></p>

Airpace Specificities

<p>The Ostriconi site sits right under the TMA Bastia 3 that starts at 1000ft/300m above surface or at 5000ft/ 1524m above mean sea level.<br> This gives plenty room for soaring.</p>
